Process #1

The diagram illustrates the process of producing electricity using geothermal energy.

Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that there are a total of five main steps to generate electricity through geothermal power. The process begins with the acquisition of cold water and ends with the generation of electricity by a generator.

The first stage commences when cold water is collected to be pumped down underneath the surface by exactly 4.5 kilometers in depth. After which, the water reaches the injection well and becomes heated by moving horizontally through a zone which consists of many hot rocks. Before the hot water can be turned into steam through condensation,  it is pumped up from the production well onto the ground level.

The next stage starts once the steam enters the turbine, forcing the machine
to rotate in circular motion. This movement will create energy which will provide power to the generator, allowing it to form electricity. Ultimately, the electricity created will go through the lines to the electricity grids to be distributed for various purposes.
