The plans illustrate how the layout of a training room will be transformed to accommodate more participants. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that all of the existing facilities will be rearranged to optimize the available space and allow for additional seating. The most notable change is in the seating arrangement, which will be shifted from a U-shaped layout, suitable for interactive lessons, to a more dispersed configuration designed to maximize space.
Looking first of all at the upper half of the floor plan A, the entrance is located at the top right hand corner, and a presenter’s chair and a white board are aligned horizontally. In the future plan, no changes will be made to the entrance, while the presenter’s chair and a white board will be positioned horizontally, with the latter positioned closer to the entrance. The morning tea area, currently situated on the far side of the entrance, will be relocated to the same side as the entrance, set in the corner against two walls.
Regarding the organization of seating, plan A can only accommodate up to 10 individuals, including two sets of three seats arranged face-to-face and a set of four oriented towards the board. In the future layout, the seating is separated into three distinct areas, each containing six seats, allowing for a maximum capacity of 18 participants.
