Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the cyclical process of making aluminum cans reusable is divided into a total of three stages. These include the initial collection of used cans, then processing in factories, and final stocking in vending machines before the cycle repeats.
In the beginning, discarded cans are gathered in specialized bins and carton boxes, with aluminum and steel cans separated. These classified boxes are thereafter delivered by truck to a recycling facility, where empty cans undergo further treatment.
In the following stages, the old aluminum is melted down in a bucket, before being casted into bars of new aluminum. These bars are subsequently transformed into rolled aluminum sheets prior to being formed into new cans. Finally, the newly produced cans are transferred from the recycling plant to drinks machines, where they are purchased by end consumers. Once the drinks are consumed, the cans are discarded once again, thereby restarting the entire process.
