The plans below show the site of a farm in 1950 and the same site today.
The maps illustrate how a farm has been transformed from 1950 to the present day. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the farm has become more modern and tourist-friendly, with the emergence of solar panels, holiday cottages, and a camping site. The farm is now accessible by road and additional parking spaces have also been added.
In the southern part of the farm, the land that was previously occupied by a barn has now been replaced by vacation cottages, while a farmhouse and chicken coops nearby have remained untouched. The original tracks have been upgraded into proper roads, with two separate roads running south and merging into one that leads to a newly built barn. To the immediate west of the map’s center, the former field of fruit trees now accommodates a farm shop, whereas the areas used for growing soft fruits and vegetables remain unaltered.
Turning to the northeast of the farm, a previous grazing field for sheep has been divided into two smaller sections for different purposes. On one side, solar panels have been erected alongside a parking spot adjacent to the road. On the other side, a camping site has been established for visitors, which is also accompanied by a parking lot bordering the road.
