The line graph illustrates the figure for international meetings in various cities. From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the number of conferences held in city A and B witnessed declines, while that of C surged. City A began the period as the location where most conferences were organized and ended as the least popular place for conferences, whereas city C experienced the exact opposite pattern.
In 1965, most international conferences were held in city A, totalling 35 meetings, followed closely by city B at around 31. Over the folowing twenty years, there were fewer conferences held in city A as its data dropped to 20 in 1975, before recovering to 30 in 1985. This figure thereafter displayed minor fluctuations and finished the period at 20, making this city the least preferred location for international conferences. On the other hand, the number of conferences organized in city B showed a gradual downward trend throughout and reached 25 at the end of the period.
It is notable that there were no international meetings held in city C at the start of the period. However, after that, the number of meetings soared to reach a high of 28, surpassing both city A and B’s figures for a brief period. The data then fell slightly to 24, prior to a more than full recovery to finish at 29, turning the city into a location where international conferences were most prevalent.
