Recycling paper

The diagram shows how recycled paper is made

The diagram illustrates the process of recycling paper. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the process of producing recycled paper is divided into three main stages. These include the collection of used paper, processing in factories, and lastly converting the materials into the end product.

Initially, used paper is gathered and placed on a conveyor belt to be delivered to a tank, where it is submerged in water and chemicals. The resultant pulp is poured into a draining basket to be filtered and transferred into an open container through a valve. Once a mixture of water, soap, ink, and air is added, the filtered gulp is rinsed.

In the following step, the pulp undergoes further cleaning, where it is mixed with water and additional chemicals, resulting in cleansed pulp. The pulp is then placed on another conveyor belt to be finally moved through heated rollers, flattening the pulp, reducing excess water, and transforming it into rolls of recycled paper.
