The plans show a student common room from five years ago and now
The layout illustrates how a shared space for students has transformed after five years. Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the entire seating area has been re-arranged, with the addition of several armchairs and a bench for laptops. It is also evident that a bookshelf has been cleared, while a television, a vending machine, and a microwave have been added.
Five years ago, there were four round tables, which were surrounded by six chairs each. At present, two round tables and two chairs have been removed to make space for a long rectangular table located near the entrance on the left side of the floor plan. There used to be a bookshelf situated in the bottom left corner of the room, but now, a television and three armchairs occupy this space.
Looking next at the top of the layout, all of the previously existing facilities remain unchanged, with the exception of a bench, which has been converted into a second microwave. There used to be a round table adjacent to the fridge in the top right corner of the floor plan, but now there is a machine for dispensing drinks instead. On the opposite side, a bench for laptops has also been installed.
