The chart illustrates the figures for various types of waste collected by a recycling center, measured in tons, over a period of four years starting from 2011. From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that this recycling center was mostly reliant on recycling paper in all of the years in question, except 2013, while the least collected type of waste was from gardens over the period. The data for all kinds of waste collected witnessed fluctuations throughout, with glass, tins, and garden waste’ lowest figures recorded in 2012, and paper in 2013.
In 2011, the amount of paper collected was highest at 57 tons, followed closely by glass at 48 tons, and more distantly by tins at 35 tons, and garden waste at 32 tons. After one year, the figures for all types of waste collected declined, with paper, glass, tins, and garden waste dropping to 50, 41, 27, and 15 tons, respectively. Over the following year, paper was the only category that experienced a decrease to 40 tons. Conversely, the data for glass collected reached 48 tons and took the first position, with those of tins and garden also grew to 34 tons and 31 tons, for each.
Over the remainders of the period, the rankings of waste collected returned to their previous orders. More specifically, in 2014, the amount of paper collected was once again greatest at 51 tons, with glass trailing slightly at 46 tons. The figure for tins and garden waste collected fell slightly, with the former totaling 33 tons and the latter 27 tons. In the final year in question, the data for all categories of waste collected reached their individual peaks, with paper ending at 70 tons, glass at 52 tons, tins at 39 tons, and finally garden at 35 tons.
