The maps illustrate how sports courts at a specific university have transformed since 1990. From an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that there has been the emergence of various sporting facilities, ranging from two new tennis courts and a basketball court to a fitness center, all of which have been built at the expense of nature and a car park. Alterations have been made to a changing room and a pool, whereas a cafe and a reception have remained untouched.
Looking first at the right side of the university sports courts, all the amenities in this area used to be completely outdoors in 1990, but they are now housed in a new building, turning the outdoor pool into an indoor one. The cafe and the reception, situated next to the pool, have stayed unchanged, while the tennis court in the right corner has been replaced by a large fitness center. Lastly, the changing room has been lengthened and relocated to align with the newly constructed gym.
In terms of the left side of the university sports yard, a park and a car park occupied this space in 1990. At present, however, the park has been removed in favor of a basketball court, whereas the tennis courts have been relocated to where the car park previously was, with two additional courts being established.
